Set up
A promising star for the 2012 Olympics, 17-year-old Alistair Ransome ‘Al’, is dead. A rival Michael Fleming, from school, who gate-crashed Simon Thorn’s party was the prime suspect. However, Simon and his girlfriend, Kate Fielding lied about their whereabouts the time Al was killed: cell-site analysis tracked their phones to the location of Al’s discarded wallet. Motive
Simon threatened to kill his school teacher, who shortly afterwards, had to leave the school in shame following a false accusation of sexual harassment from Katie. These two are liars and the police have found Simon’s motive for wanting to kill Al - find out what it is in Part 2’s video.
Weapon

Murderer
The murder weapon was a piece of wood from a pallet with a nail in the end. This inflicted Al’s fatal puncture wound. The murderer had no idea they were guilty. Watch them find out in Part 4’s video.
