Deal Me Out

Day 1 - Missing: Part 1 of 4

Missing
PCs Millie Brown and Sally Armstrong break up a screaming row between Larry Kemp and his partner Heather Brown. Because heroin had been posted through their letterbox Larry kicked Heather out to protect their little girl Claire. Heather’s friend Dawn Campbell told officers she had been doing really well keeping off drugs. Then panic struck - five-year-old Claire was missing. The search begins in Part 1’s video.

Liar
Whilst police searched and canvassed people trying to find Claire within the all important 24 hours, her mother was caught attempting to shoplift. Heather didn’t know her daughter was missing. Dawn came to support Heather at the station - she told Smithy that Larry was a former addict too. Part 2’s video sees Grace find a vital clue and the investigation takes a turn...

Sting
Heather owed Dawn for a drug debt from their prison time together. This made Dawn the prime suspect for abducting Claire. Larry was about to pay the blackmail for his daughter Claire’s return, but Banksy stopped him. Instead a sting was set up to catch Dawn and Jim: Wearing a wire, Larry handed Dawn the money but then it went wrong - he refused to let Dawn go as his daughter wasn’t there and instead attacked her. In Part 3’s video, Grace makes a break in the case.

Gotcha
Millie and Sally’s witness led them to Jim’s car; Claire’s fleece was inside. Looking up at a skyscraper block of flats, Jim was spotted trying to leave by climbing down cable on the outside. Millie found Claire behind a locked front door, but managed to talk her into opening it. Claire was returned to her mum and dad – none the worse for her ordeal.
