Millie and Jade were in a deadly situation: their kidnappers are junkies who were panicking and confused, whilst holding a loaded gun. Officers back at the station (except Max) knew Jade was in grave danger after her baby was found alone at home. Millie was in trouble at work for not showing up. CRACKED

The kidnappers took Millie's advice and planned to drop her and Jade back home. But they sped off when Roger was spotted outside Jade's house. Millie took the lead and told Mark and Si to drop Jade off at an A&E; otherwise they'd be looking at a murder charge. She also led them to a car park that was patrolled, knowing the van she was in had been spotted by Roger earlier and would be recognised. There, Millie commandeered a car for her kidnappers to escape in. What they didn't know was she had whispered vital info to the driver who handed over the vehicle.
