In the centre of London, DS Max Carter and DS Terry Perkins are on a high stakes obbo to catch Mark Wilson in a drugs’ deal. Terry moves in closer when a row breaks out with Josie Hibbert only to discover PC Leon Taylor defending her and having a tussle with Mark. DI Neil Manson gives Max the go ahead to investigate further but keep Leon in the dark.
Screwed Up [video #2]
Max, in his usual ‘charming’ manner, pulls Leon up. He’s quietly confident that Leon isn’t involved in anything illegal but can’t work out if Leon is lying when he claims Josie is just a friend. Despite Josie being a prison officer, Max doesn’t trust her and believes she’s somehow involved with Mark Wilson and his dangerous brother Shaun who is an inmate in her prison, for drug offences.
Phones for you [video #3]
CID find out that Shaun’s girlfriend Ria was given a mobile phone to smuggle into the prison and she passed it onto Josie. When Josie didn’t take the phone into work, Max gives Leon the orders to make her do it. If Shaun has that phone, it means CID can listen in on the tapped line.
Trust [video #4]
No one is sure whether Josie is or is not on the wrong side of the law. Leon trusts her, so when Josie refuses to take the phone in on his advice, Leon tells her the truth about the undercover CID operation, knowing this is the only way she’d do something dodgy. But back at the station with moody Max, Leon is rocked to see Josie is friends with Ria. Has he just made a huge mistake?
