Ben Meadows
Whilst Ben has been serving time in prison he had always refused his dad, DCI Jack Meadows as visiting order. When DC Mickey Webb caught up with Ben, he asked him not to tell his dad that he’s out of jail as he wanted to get a job and flat first.
Mickey’s loyalties were torn and Jack was furious to find out a; his son was out on bail b; Mickey had kept his from him and c; Ben was in the middle of PCP production and distribution.
Jack arrested his son and with his fingerprints all over the drug factory Ben was sure to be sent straight back inside. The DCI wanted to keep his offspring out of prison so asked for all the details of the racket Ben was mixed up in.
Jack didn’t feel he could trust his son, but Supt. Heaton insisted to go ahead and arrange a sting for the drug deal Ben had given the details of.
The deal didn’t go down as Ben had explained. Instead, nearby, two people had been shot.
