Part 2:
Charlie Davies was released without charge after he was arrested for the assault on his wife Eve. It looked like he'd pushed her down the stairs.
The evidence found at the crime scene, together with the conflicting witness statements led DI Nixon to profile Charlie and Eve. It didn't fit that Charlie would beat his wife - but it did add up Eve would be violent towards him!
Part 1:
PC Beth Green failed to stop Molly Anderson jump from a bridge into the Thames in a suicide bid. PC Nate Roberts leapt straight into the river and brought Molly to safety.
Molly’s attempt at taking her own life led the police to find heroin in her desk at work, and this blew open a case of drug dealing at the Jasmine Allen Boxing Gym.
Molly’s boyfriend Charlie Davies was a suspect at first – his alibi didn’t tally with what he had told his wife Eve. He’d lied to cover his affair with Molly.
Andy Marcom was the dealer and Molly had found out. As a recovering junkie, and rather than battle with drugs once again, Molly decided killing herself was the only option for her.
She did eventually stand up to violent Andy who was arrested.
Meanwhile Beth's application for a job with the Witness Protection Unit had been accepted.
