Whilst Dermot O’Leary replaces Sir Trevor McDonald in this year’s National Television Awards, The Bill’s cast and producers prepare for the glitzy, showbiz bash where the winners are determined by your votes alone.

The Bill has been nominated for Best Drama; Amita Dhiri (DC Grace Dasari) and Andrew Lancel (DI Neil Manson) for Best Drama Performance; and Dominic Power (PC Leon Taylor) for Best Newcomer.
The ceremony, one of the biggest nights on British TV, will take place in January 2010.
