Here’s a crew view of the mega stunt from the episode The Truth Will Out.
The production team went all out to ensure the realism and drama was captured when a little boy is trapped inside the drain.
The show’s construction team built a storm drain inside a massive tank. The tank was then filled with water and the constructed drain was suspended over it by a crane.
To emulate the water rising in the passages of the drain, along with the tension and drama, the crane lowered the construction pushing the water up.
Not an average day for brave actors Alex Walkinshaw (Smithy) and Rhea Bailey (Mel Ryder).
