Here’s another exclusive peak behind camera on the filming around the dramatic flooding storm drain stunt.
Actors Alex Walkinshaw, who plays Smithy, and Rhea Bailey, who plays PC Mel Ryder, spent two days braving their new working conditions whilst either acting in the massive water tank or in the hot tub between scenes.
This episode aired 25th March and won its slot for ITV in the TV schedules, pulling in 4.5m viewers and a 20% share of the audience.
